Product Description:

The SV6500-433 wireless module is an ultra-long-distance wireless data transmission radio station, which uses the high-performance SiliconLab Si4432 radio frequency chip. The extremely low receiving sensitivity, coupled with the industry-leading 5 W super-large output power, ensures extended range and improved link performance. The wireless data transmission module provides multiple frequency bands and multiple channels and network ID to reduce interference during transmission and improve transmission performance. Users can modify and set the serial port and RF-related parameters through PC software or online.

3. Purpose of product testing

Test whether the working frequency of SV6500-433 wireless module products in different industrial environment temperatures meets the standard and whether the communication function is normal.

5. Product testing methods

  • Connect the product to the standard DEMO board, put it in a thermostat after power on, set the temperature of the thermostat to -40°, after the temperature stabilizes, monitor the actual working frequency of the product with a spectrum analyzer and record it.
  • Take the same DEMO board, set the same frequency between the DEMO board and the product module in the incubator, connect the antenna, and send data to the product in the incubator at regular intervals, and the blue light on the product will be on.
  • And the blue light on the standard DEMO board is on, the product can send and receive data normally, and the recording communication function is normal; otherwise, the recording communication function is abnormal.
  • Change the temperature of the incubator and set it to -40°, -20°, 25°, 60°, 85° in sequence, and repeat the first step.

6. Judgment criteria for qualified products

If the frequency band is set to 433MHz or 470MHz, the difference between the actual measured working frequency and the set frequency under each temperature environment is no more than ±5KHz, and the communication function is normal, the product is qualified.

The product with the frequency band set to 868MHz requires an error not exceeding ±9KHz; the product with the frequency band set to 915MHz requires an error not exceeding ±10KHz.

 

7. Product test conclusion

After standardized measurement and calculation, the analysis data shows that the working frequency deviation of SV6500-433 wireless module at room temperature is less than ±5KHz, which is a normal value, and the working frequency deviation of the product under different high and low-temperature environments is within the range required by the specification and can be normal The data is sent and received, and the test product is qualified.
