The requirements for receiver sensitivity in the remote control of digital switching modules

By sdga:NiceRF Wireless Technology Co., Ltd

The receiver sensitivity of a module refers to the degree of sensitivity to the signals received. In remote control, receiver sensitivity refers to the lowest electromagnetic wave signal that the receiving device can recognize and the ability to receive and decode signals, represented in dBm. Sensitivity is usually expressed in negative units, the smaller the value, the higher the sensitivity. General Bluetooth receiver sensitivity is -90dBm, and professional receiver modules can reach -120dBm.

In the application of switch control modules, the requirements for sensitivity are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

  1. Control signal transmission distance: The control signal needs to be reliably transmitted to the switch module within a certain distance range. Good sensitivity ensures that the switch module can receive control signals transmitted from a distance, ensuring the reliability of remote control.
  2. Accuracy of signal parsing: The switch module needs to accurately parse the received control signals to distinguish different control instructions or signal types. Good sensitivity ensures that the switch module can accurately identify and parse control signals, thereby achieving accurate control of devices.
  3. Anti-interference ability: The switch module needs to have good anti-interference ability to cope with possible electromagnetic interference and wireless signal interference in the surrounding environment. Good sensitivity allows the switch module to accurately identify and filter out non-target signals, ensuring the accuracy of switch operations.

SK108 is an industrial-grade remote wireless four-channel digital switch control module launched by our company, with a receiver sensitivity of -121dBm. In addition, it provides four signal input and four control output interfaces. It is characterized by simple interfaces and reliable operation. Users can also combine a user-friendly PC interface to wirelessly configure and modify the internal parameters of the module. The DIP switch on the module can also change the module's operating frequency (16 groups selectable) and operating mode, etc., making it flexible and convenient to use. The specific parameters are as follows:

In summary, the requirements of the switch control module for sensitivity are mainly reflected in the control signal transmission distance, signal parsing accuracy, and anti-interference ability. The SK108 switch module's excellent sensitivity performance can accurately and quickly receive signals, thereby achieving reliable switch control.
