Statement on the Software Copyright Registration of the UWB650 Module Shenzhen NiceRF Wireless Technology Co., Ltd. officially obtained the National Software Copyright Registration Certificate for its UWB650 Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Wireless Communication Module on October 15, 2025.

The certification mainly includes two software systems: “Serial Port Ranging Communication and Positioning Module System Based on UWB Technology” and “Indoor and Outdoor Positioning and Ranging System Based on UWB Technology.”

The module is developed based on the IEEE 802.15.4-2020 standard and is primarily designed for industrial-grade high-precision positioning applications.

The UWB650 module adopts the Qorvo DW3000 chipset solution, integrating a high-performance RF power amplifier, MCU, and general-purpose IO interfaces. It offers the following core functions:

• Ranging Performance: Supports ±10 cm ranging accuracy with double-sided two-way ranging;
• Positioning Modes: Supports both 2D planar positioning and 3D spatial positioning;
• Data Transmission: Adjustable air data rates of 6.8 Mbps / 850 Kbps;
• Security Features: Built-in AES-128 encryption and ESD protection;
• Supports MESH networking and UWB-to-TTL wireless communication.

Software Copyright Details

This certification covers the underlying communication protocol implementation, ranging algorithm optimization, and configuration management functions of the module. Through serial port commands, users can flexibly configure various module parameters, including wireless settings, ranging parameters, and other key features.
