The data acquisition and supervisory control system (SCADA for short) is usually a star topology, consisting of a master station and multiple slave stations.
The answer is yes, the uart rf module developed by NiceRF can be used to select and transmit data.
Our site selection data transmission module is a non-transparent uart rf module, which can identify the transmission data format and its address field, so as to decide whether to send or discard the received data. After setting different addresses for each uart rf module, the master station polls After the data is transmitted to the slave station, only one slave station address will match. The slave station uart rf module will receive the data and send it out for further processing by the external device or controller. The other slave station uart rf modules will be discarded because the addresses do not match. Receive data and wait for the next polling data to arrive.
It should be noted that if the customer originally built a wired SCADA system with 485 bus, it needs to be expanded in a large range. Since the slave controller in the wired system has an address, it is not necessary to use a uart rf module to complete the site selection. If the original point-to-point simplest system needs to be expanded to a point-to-multipoint SCADA system, our company's site selection uart rf module can be used to simplify the expansion. If a new SCADA system is built, our company's site selection uart rf module can be used.
