RF3060 is a module based on the low-power, long-range wireless transceiver chip that uses ChirpIoTTM modulation and demodulation technology. It supports half-duplex wireless communication and utilizes a TCXO crystal oscillator, offering high anti-interference capability, high sensitivity, low power consumption, and ultra-long transmission range. Communication Range: Under the same conditions (20dBm transmit power, 125kHz bandwidth), the module achieves a communication distance of over 4–5 kilometers in open environments. The RF3060F27 maintains the same package size and pin layout as the RF3060, but offers nearly double the range under identical environmental and parameter settings, making it more suitable for IoT scenarios requiring extended transmission distances.
Interference Resistance: The RF3060 series modules feature a built-in dynamic channel detection algorithm, providing excellent interference recognition and avoidance capabilities. Even in densely networked environments with multiple nodes, stable communication is maintained. Combined with CAD (Channel Activity Detection) functionality, the module can quickly sense channel activity, improve channel utilization, and effectively avoid co-channel interference and data collisions.
Sleep Power Consumption: In sleep mode, the RF3060 module demonstrates outstanding energy-saving performance, with standby current as low as 5mA, significantly reducing power consumption. This is especially advantageous for battery-powered devices such as smart smoke detectors and smart agriculture sensors, greatly enhancing their battery life.
Flexible Software and Hardware Configuration: The module supports flexible configuration of various parameters including frequency band, spreading factor, data rate, and bandwidth. Low Data Rate Mode: The RF3060 series is a low data rate wireless module based on LoRa modulation technology, supporting data transmission rates from 5 to 59.9 Kbps. It offers flexible configuration according to specific application scenarios and delivers ultra-long-range, low-power, and highly reliable communication performance.
Compact Structure & Multiple Package Options: The RF3060 series is available in three different package sizes: RF3060, RF3060F27, and Mini3060, all featuring compact designs. Among them, the Mini3060 is the smallest and is ideal for space-constrained embedded devices. The RF3060 and RF3060F27 share the same dimensions, but the RF3060F27 offers roughly twice the communication range of the RF3060, providing a more competitive solution for long-distance transmission.
