Many customers often ask us a question when purchasing our wireless modules: Why should we increase the module's RF rate? How to increase the RF rate? .

Why do you want to increase the RF rate?

  Before answering this question, our company gives you a knowledge of science, what is the speed of the wireless module? It runs at the same speed as our car. The higher the speed, the faster the car runs. The same is true for the speed. The higher the speed, the faster the transmission. In this way, we can simply understand why the rate of the wireless data transmission module RF is increased: the higher the rate, the faster the transmission speed, and the more data can be transmitted in a unit time.

So how do you increase the rate of RF?

Let's take the SV-611 wireless data transmission module as an example. There are two ways to increase the rate of RF. One is to modify the rate through the PC configuration software, and the other is to modify it online through the UART interface.

1.PC configuration software:

When the SV-611 wireless data transmission module works normally, pull down the low SET pin (or short to ground) to switch the module to the parameter configuration mode. When the user connects to the USB adapter board, simply short the upper shorting cap. Connect to enter the configuration mode, in this mode, the module's red and blue transceiver indicators will be always on, as shown below:

In the configuration mode, the user can configure the relevant parameters of the module through the PC software. After the PC software is opened, click to open the corresponding COM port (can be viewed under the device manager), and the PC will read the parameter information of the connected module and in the window. The corresponding model and version information is displayed, and the message "Device Found!" is displayed in the status bar below. When the device is unplugged or there is no response, the status bar below displays “Device Not Found!” and the product information box above becomes gray invalid. The PC interface after the module is successfully connected is shown below:

After the module is properly connected, the module is in the "settable parameters" state. We select the Baud Rate in the red box in the picture, click on the drop-down box, select the value of the RF rate that needs to be increased, and click SET to complete.

2. Online modification through the UART interface:

The command header is three bytes AA FA 03 followed by 14 parameters, the third of which is the parameter corresponding to the selection rate of the wireless rate.

Set the rate range as follows:

Setting range: 1200 2400 4800 9600 14400 19200 38400 57600 76800 115200 bps

Example: If you want to set the RF rate to the fastest 115200 bps, then the third parameter should be set to 9, then the parameters of the last input serial port are as follows (hexadecimal input):
