Dear colleagues, customers:
The Dragon Boat Festival in 2019 is coming soon. In order to facilitate the arrangement of work and holiday life in advance, according to the Notice of the General Office of the State Council on the 2019 Holiday Arrangement, the company's Dragon Boat Festival holiday is now notified as follows:
The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Duanyang Festival, is a traditional Chinese folk festival. Originated in China, it was originally a festival in which the ancient ancestors sacrificed dragon ancestors in the form of dragon boat racing. Because the legendary Chu State poet Qu Yuan in the Warring States Period plunged into the Luojiang River in the Dragon Boat Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival was also used as a festival to commemorate Qu Yuan; the Dragon Boat Festival and the Spring Festival, the Ching Ming Festival, and the Mid-Autumn Festival were also called the four traditional Chinese folk festivals. The Dragon Boat Festival culture has a wide influence in the world. Some countries and regions in the world also celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. In May 2006, the State Council listed it as the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage; since 2008, it has been listed as a national statutory holiday. In September 2009, UNESCO officially approved its inclusion in the "List of Representatives of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity", and the Dragon Boat Festival became China's first festival to be selected into the world.
