In the fields of modern industrial automation and wireless communication, transmission distance and stability are key indicators for evaluating the performance of wireless modules. To verify the transmission capabilities of the SA628F39 full-duplex audio module in complex environments and provide users with reference data for practical applications, we conducted on-site testing.
The SA628F39 is a high-power full-duplex audio transmission module developed by NiceRF. The test was conducted along the auxiliary road of the Guangshen Expressway in Xixiang, Shenzhen. The objective of the test was to assess the maximum transmission distance of the module in an urban environment. The testing was performed using multiple distance measurement segments.
Test Preparation
Test Location: The transmission site is located on the roof of Hongdu Business Building, while the receiving site is along the Xixiang section of Guangshen Road.
Test Samples:
One transmitting module, SA628F39 (with shipping program).
One receiving module, SA628F22 (with shipping program).
One 12V power supply.
One audio player.
Various antennas: a large suction cup antenna, whip antenna, and fiberglass antenna.
Test Start
After the power supply and antennas are connected, the transmitting module will light up with a red indicator. The frequency is set to 441.92 MHz, and the module is placed 1.3 meters above the ground.
Testing of Antenna Reception
In addition to wireless module research and development, our company also offers antenna customization services. Therefore, in this test, along with evaluating the maximum distance of the high-power audio transmission module, we also tested the reception performance of various antennas, including the large suction cup antenna, whip antenna (as shown in the image above), and fiberglass antenna.
After multiple tests, the fiberglass antenna and whip antenna showed better reception performance compared to the large suction cup antenna. The stable reception distance for both the fiberglass and whip antennas reached 6 kilometers, with an extreme range of up to 7 kilometers.
Multi-Distance Testing
Through multi-segment distance testing, the actual maximum signal reception distance was found to be 7 kilometers. However, due to urban signal interference and the presence of buildings, the best communication performance was achieved within a 6-kilometer range, where communication was stable and functional as soon as powered on.
Distance 4.3KM
Distance 4.9KM
Distance 5.6KM
Distance 6KM
Distance 7KM
Note: The tested transmission distance of this wireless module is for reference only. Different usage environments may have varying levels of interference, which could lead to deviations in transmission distance. If your environment is more complex and the expected transmission distance is not achieved, please feel free to contact Siwei Wireless staff. We can customize wireless communication products and antenna solutions based on your application requirements.
