First prepare the tools: two EFR32 DEMO function demonstration boards, two EFR32 extension boards (EFR32 wireless modules have been welded on them), two 868MHz frequency rod antennas (SW868-ZT48), 6 batteries: 1.5V voltage (each battery).
Next, use the DEMO function demonstration board of the SOC wireless transceiver module EFR32 for distance testing, power on the two EFR32 DEMO boards (power supply voltage is 4.5V), and the Demo board is regulated to 3.3V. Set the transceiver frequency of the two DEMO boards to 868MHz, transmit power 20dBm, data rate (DR) to 1.2Kbps, frequency deviation (FD) to 12KHz, bandwidth (BW) to 9.6KHz, and one of the DEMO boards is adjusted to the Master terminal. The other is adjusted to the Slave end for two-way communication.
Due to the relatively long transmission distance, the test environment is G107 (Guangshen Highway), Baoan District, Shenzhen. After actual measurement, the transmission distance of the SOC wireless transceiver module EFR32 is 4.3Km.
